Duck Creek Ice Cave is a small limestone cavern about 30 miles east of Cedar City near Duck Creek Village. It measures roughly 80 feet long and 25 feet deep and stays cold year-round—around 40°F even in early August. Parts of the floor hold ice through the summer. Pioneers used it as natural refrigeration for food storage. The cave is a single horizontal room; a short walk from the parking area leads to the entrance, which has a steep descent with a rope handline.
