About Duck Creek Village Inn

A mountain hotel between Bryce Canyon, Zion, Cedar Breaks, and quieter days in the pines

Our story

Guest room view at Duck Creek Village Inn

We run Duck Creek Village Inn the way we like to be hosted when we travel. You get honest route advice, local tips on what to skip, and a quiet building at 8,400 feet.

Most guests book here to reach Cedar Breaks, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Brian Head, or Navajo Lake. Some come for the trailheads around the village. We handle the logistics so your mornings start with the park, not the planning.

The cooler air pulls you up from the desert. The pine forest and the quiet keep you here longer than you planned.

Why Duck Creek works as your mountain hotel

Duck Creek sits at 8,400 feet on the Markagunt Plateau. Pine forest, meadows, and aspen groves keep it 20 to 30 degrees cooler than the desert towns south of here.

From the inn you can reach Cedar Breaks in 20 minutes, Bryce or Zion in about an hour, and Navajo Lake in 15. You sleep in the mountains and spend the day wherever you want.

You can alternate a Bryce or Zion day with a pond walk and a slow dinner in the village. Same hotel, different days.

What a stay can look like

Mix a village day with one or two park days and a scenic drive or lake stop. Three nights gives you enough time for all of it.
