Duck Creek Village events

Duck Creek Village Fall Fest runs Fri. Sep. 25 to Sun. Sep. 27, 2026, with live music, art exhibits, hat decorating, games, food and drink specials, a bake sale and a food drive throughout the village. The dates land on peak aspen color.

The Duck Creek Village Chamber of Commerce presents Fall Fest, Friday September 25 through Sunday September 27, 2026. Activities run throughout the village across all 3 days, and the chamber lists live music, art exhibits, fall and Halloween hat decorating, games, food and drink specials, a bake sale, and a holiday food drive. A full schedule of events is still to come; the chamber posts it at duckcreekvillage.com. The village calendar previously listed this weekend as Fall Colors Fest across a longer late-September window, so the 3-day dates above are the current ones. The dates land on peak. Aspens at village elevation, roughly 8,400 feet, turn in the last week of September and the first week of October in most years, based on 22 dated observations from 2014 to 2025 on our own tracker. Cedar Breaks sits near 10,000 feet and turns 1 to 2 weeks earlier, so the rim can be past peak while the village is still full gold. Highway 14 between the village and Cedar City is the drive, and the color moves downhill as the season goes on. Three things worth planning around. Cedar Breaks charges $25 per vehicle and takes cards only, and its visitor center closes for the season in mid October. Utah's muzzleloader deer hunt runs September 23 to October 1, so it covers the whole festival weekend: wear orange on the trails and expect trucks at the trailheads. Brian Head's scenic chairlift stops running after September 20, so it is not an option that weekend. The village is a short walk from the inn. For this year's read on where the color stands, see our fall color tracker and the 2026 peak dates post.
