Trunk or Treat and Harvest Night
Saturday, October 31: Trunk or Treat on Main Street from 4 to 6 p.m., then Harvest Night at Duck Creek Community Church from 5 to 7 p.m., with hayrides running between them.
Duck Creek Village holds Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. Main Street closes to through traffic at 3:45 p.m. so decorated trunks can line the road, and there is a prize for the best decorated trunk. Duck Creek Community Church follows with Harvest Night from 5 to 7 p.m., with food, games and costume contests. Hayrides run between the two from 4:30 to 7 p.m., so kids can trick-or-treat the trunks and ride out to the church without anyone moving a car. It is a small-mountain Halloween, and it gets cold fast once the sun drops at 8,400 feet. Put a warm layer under the costume and bring gloves. Late October can also bring the first snow of the season to Highway 14, so check the UDOT summit cam before you drive up.
