Lodging up the mountain for Kanab and Kane County crews
Have a job in Duck Creek Village and a crew based in Kanab or elsewhere in Kane County? Kanab is about 51 miles from the inn, roughly 70 minutes by car. Instead of making that drive at both ends of a shift, your crew can stay in the village, close to the work: Duck Creek Village Inn has six rooms in a log lodge and three cabins. Book online, or call or email us. Staying a week or more? Call us and we'll apply a weekly discount.

US-89 → UT-14
From Kanab the drive is about 51 miles, roughly 70 minutes, north on US-89 through Mount Carmel Junction to Long Valley Junction, then west on Highway 14. Commuting both ways is more than two hours on the road each day.
Coming from the east on US-89 and Highway 14, you reach the village without crossing the summit on the Cedar Canyon side. The road is plowed all winter, but storms can still bring traction requirements or temporary closures, so staying in the village saves your crew a winter drive at both ends of the day.
We're one of the only places in Duck Creek Village with a staffed front desk. If the crew needs something, ask at the desk. We keep a small selection of drinks and snacks there, and we're glad to suggest where to eat, where to grab supplies, and how the roads look.
