The east side of Zion is the closest stretch: Orderville and Mt. Carmel Junction are about 40 minutes south on US-89. Springdale is closer to an hour and a half through the park’s east entrance, longer when the gate line backs up in peak season. Plan evening events there with the dark drive home in mind.
